OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 SECTION 119

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2016

On 7th September 2016 County Borough Council confirmed the above named Order, made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath described in Part 1 of the Schedule to the route described in Part 2 of the Schedule as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the office of Council, Guildhall, Wrexham, and at Post Office, Maybury Avenue, Glyn Ceiriog, from 9.00am to 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham.

The Order will come into operation on 21st September 2016 but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, pursuant to paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, he or she may make application to the High Court within six weeks from 12th September 2016.

PART 1 DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF EXISTING PATHS OR WAYS

The full width of that part of Llansantffraid Glyn Ceiriog public footpath 10 shown by a bold continuous line commencing from point A (SJ 2003 3874) on the Order Map and continuing generally west-north-west for approximately 205 metres to the junction with Ucha Road at point B (SJ 1984 3883) on the Order Map.

PART 2 DESCRIPTION OF SITE OF NEW PATH OR WAY

A footpath shown by a bold broken line commencing from point A (SJ 2003 3874) on the Order Map and continuing generally west-north-west adjacent to the northern side of the field boundary for approximately 205 metres to meet Cefn Ucha Road at point C (SJ 1985 3884) on the Order Map. The centre line of the footpath will be 3.7 metres from the centre of the base of the row of mature conifer trees adjacent to the southern side of the footpath.

Width: 1.8 metres between point A (SJ 2003 3874) and point C (SJ 1985 3884) on the Order Map.
