Diana Lynn Phillips May 6, 1948 - May 19, 2012

Diana Lynn Phillips, age 64, of Plano, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2012. She was born May 6, 1948, in Sweetwater, Texas, to David Brooks and Mary Ruth (Clark) Crockett. Diana graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in June 1966, and attended Texas Wesleyan University. On November 29, 1968, Diana married Richard Phillips in Desoto, Texas. She worked for AT&T for over thirty-two years. Diana was a member of the Arlington Quilters Guild and the Plano Quilters Guild; and was den leader for the Cub Scouts. She was a member of Holy Nativity Episcopal Church in Plano, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Richard M. Phillips of Plano, Texas; sons, Ricky Phillips and wife Debbie of Denison, Texas, David Phillips and wife Anna of Providence Village, Texas, Dale Phillips and wife Christy of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Kourtney, Ashley and Alex; sister, Pat Cowan of Arlington, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4100 Alpha Rd # 100 Dallas, TX 75244, www.diabetes.org.
