Moving In. Stepping Out. 2011 ANNUAL Report to the community 2 3 Dear Friends, A few short years ago, our beautiful new facility was just a glimmer in our eyes, a vision with little shape or form, yet driven by the reality of the growing needs of our customers and community. When we moved in on that cold, wintery January day in 2011, we all felt a sense of wonder inspired by the building’s grace and design,

as well as humble gratitude for a community that poured out its support to help us Lenna Kottke Jana Petersen complete such an ambitious effort.

While we thought the new facility was the completion of a strategic organizational change effort, we soon learned otherwise. Near the end of this year came the culmination of a multi-year effort to enhance our communications strategy. Through the hard work of staff and board, and with expert advice from Vermilion Design, we identified a pathway to enable us to reach out to more and more community members in need. And we also agreed to change the name of our We envision a future where all people, regardless of age, health, organization to Via Mobility Services.
