Food Pantry Families Grateful for local Grocer

At 2pm one afternoon last month, a local grocery store who partners with us called and said that their freezer was going out, and they wanted to donate 4,00 pounds of frozen food to our ministry! Our pantry team immediately started calling the many needy families we serve weekly, and by 6pm we were able to feed numerous families! Additionally, we were able to stock the freezers in the homes of our residents. We are sorry that the grocery store had this unfortunate occurrence, but glad they donated the food to us so we could bless many families...rather than throw it away!
