Event Title: In support to ITU/UNESCO Digital Inclusion Week

Event Description: One of Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s (BA) objectives is to be a leading institution of the digital age. Accordingly, the BA through its Academic Research Sector and Information Communication Technology Sector are willing to participate in the ITU- UNESCO digital week for the Arab region held during the period of 25 to 31 October 2020, through organizing one day event at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Conference Center, on 25 October 2020. The Academic Research Sector via its Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, in cooperation with the BA Information Communication Technology Sector will hold one day event for young people to promote SDGs specially goal #9 and to provide outline of the world of Big data and its application in the field of industry ; with special focus on the infrastructure and digital communication technologies of the BA which had enabled BA to provide all its services online during Covid 19 pandemic and its closing till 13th September 2020 in addition to BA Supercomputer project.
