CONTACT Gordon Ross Engineering [email protected] +44 (0) 141 226 6911 Development - the challenge Building on from SYSTRA’s previous work with housing developer Hope Homes on the Knockroon Project for the Prince of Wales Trust, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust are now looking to complete phase 1 of the development. In order to do so a number of approvals and elements require to be realigned with current developments and subsequent agreements. The frontage road design aspects of Road require to be completed and an update to the previously consented drainage discharge strategy requires to be agreed. SYSTRA have been appointed to liaise with Scottish Water and East Council to agree and obtain approvals in order for the first phase to be completed. systra’s role SYSTRA undertook from feasibility through to detailed design and support during the delivery phases design of the initial streets of the Knockroon Development. In order to fit in with the construction phasing, aspects of the drainage strategy now require to be amended and with that SYSTRA have been appointed to design and gain detailed technical approval from Scottish Water. In addition to the drainage alterations, the frontage onto Auchinleck Road is to now be finalised on site and as such some minor amendments are to be agreed and approvals gained from Council.
