On-site media registration For accredited media present in , registration for accredited media, including badge pickup will take place : 20 June, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, in the “Rome Press Centre” 21 June, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, in “Geneva Press Centre” Please bring your valid passport, this accreditation confirmation and your press card (if you have one).

The Rome Press Centre is in the WCC archive building, which is located behind the main building at the Ecumenical Centre in Geneva (in between the Ecumenical Centre and the new Global Fund building). Address of the Archives Building: 7 Route des Morillons, 1218 Le Grand-Saconnex.

The Geneva Press Centre is located on the ground floor of the new Global Fund building (corner of Route de Ferney and Chemin du Pommier). The media entrance to the building is from Route de Ferney.

To avoid last minute congestion, please register and pick up your badge the day before if at all possible.

1 Press Centres and Access to Events Please be aware that physical access to events on the day is extremely limited due to space and security.  Only pre-selected Vatican- and a very limited number of WCC- accredited media will be permitted at the events in the Ecumenical Centre and the Ecumenical Institute of Bossey.  The vast majority of media will ONLY have physical access to the Geneva Press Centre and the Holy Mass at Palexpo. Livestreaming of events will be available online and at the press centres. Those granted access to the events in the Ecumenical Centre and Institute of Bossey will be notified separately.

The Geneva Press Centre located next to the Ecumenical Centre in the new Global Fund building will provide 150 workspaces for journalists with their own laptops and other equipment, provide live broadcast of events and documentation, information and ecumenical expertise, and interview services. The Geneva Press Centre will be open from 7:30am – 8 pm on 21 June. Any journalists wishing to continue working can move to the Rome Press Centre next door.

A Rome Press Centre located in the WCC archive building between the Ecumenical Centre and the Global Fund building provide TV and radio studio space, outside stand up space, and other spaces for interviews on June 21. During the day, part of the Rome Press Centre is reserved for Vatican-accredited media. The space will be open for all accredited media between 18h00 and 24h00.

Photos will also be distributed throughout the day by a pool of Reuters, AFP and AP photographers.

Television Services and Studios Video will be available for broadcasters and publishers without charge, as a live broadcast signal through fibre-optic and satellite, and as edited clips for television and web-based publishing.

A fully equipped and serviced TV studio will be set up in the “Rome Press Centre”, and stand up spots for television cameras, 2m x 2m, with a natural background or a branded backdrop are available and linked up for live broadcast to the EBU cables. To schedule the studio or stand up spots in advance, please use the contact details below with your scheduling request. Requests on-site will be handled on a first-come, first served basis.

Pool drops for the live feed in the Geneva and Rome Press Centres may also available, depending on requests received by the deadline of 15 June. Pool drops must be requested before arrival.

Interview Requests The WCC can facilitate interviews and information requests for WCC staff, Central Committee members, and ecumenical partners. Ecumenical experts in the press centres will also be available to answer questions as they arise.

Requests can be made in advance and on the day for both phone and on-site interviews. Car parking will not be available at the Ecumenical Centre or Palexpo.

The WCC will organize special shuttle buses for media from the Geneva Press Centre to Palexpo for the Holy Mass, departing at 15:30.

After the Holy Mass, bus transportation will be available for media from Palexpo back to the Geneva Press Centre.
