ARNOLD REPEATS at MULTISTARS 8141 Score Turns Back Suarez, Garcia

Hello Again…It was not so much that he won or even the quality of the early season score. That was all terrific news for ’s repeat win at the 23rd MultiStars in DeSanzano, Italy. Arnold’s 8141 score (his rd th 3 best ever and 6 8k effort) was impressive enough. But it was who he beat on May 8-9 in this little northern Italian village that raised eyebrows. A beefed up field of 31 started including ’08 Olympic bronze medalist and

‘09 IAAF world champs silver medalist Leonel Suarez of Cuba (PR 8654 ’09) and his countryman, Yordani Garcia, who owns the world’s highest score in 2010 (8381). No matter, where the dust settled it the leader board read: Arnold 8141, Suarez 8112 and Garcia 8048. Here’s what happened.
