On Aug. 4, 2017, the Full Flight Simulator (FFS) at NATO Air Base was officially shut down to receive a major upgrade in the Communication, Navigation, Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) program. Individual tuition in small groups for children aged 5 and up is in accordance with the curriculum of the German school system. Classes are held at the IYA on Thursdays, 1500 – 1630 and 1630 - 1800, under the experienced and certified instruction of Manuela Beck. Cost is € 45 for an eight-week course.
