Cork Con U 9 Terenure Tour
The 2015/16 Cork Con FC U9s embarked on their first tour on Sat 14th Nov. It was an early start on Saturday morning when 38 players and 10 coaches met up in the club at 7:30am.
As we travelled up the country to Dublin by coach, the players fuelled up on sugar and began to focus on the upcoming game. The process of ge ng psyched up was started with an impressive rendi on of the haka on the coach. A er the games, the coaches led the players in the Con victory song 'Here here, the Cons are here!'
Terenure provided a delicious lunch before we set off on our return trip to Temple hill. We visited McDonald's in Cashel where all the boys braved the elements once more to eat their happy meals in the outside sea ng area while some of the parents retreated to the warmth of the indoor area. A er a long day we got back to Cork Con FC at 6:15pm.

We arrived in Terenure RFC and the team was led to the dress- ing room where players were sorted into 4 very strong teams. A er team bibs, boots and gum shields were organised, the mighty Cork Con U9 players took to the pitch.

The players put on a superb display of running rugby, passing, tackling, rucking and mauling.
There were some great tries scored and all players contributed to an excellent exhibi on of first class rugby. Page 2 Cork Constitution has one of the finest facilities in Irish Rugby.
