08 | Providence and the Bible VIEWBOOK 2018-2019 Providence and the Bible | 09 RESIDENCE LIFE You’ve turned off the highway and onto our driveway. Soon you're standing, suitcase in hand, in front of your dorm. (Deep breath.) Making the adjustment to life in residence can seem intimidating, which is why we'll ensure your transition is as comfortable as possible! Here’s how.

YOUR DORM We have accommodations just for you! You’ll have a comfortable bed, a desk and a window, and while you may share washroom facilities you’ll have plenty of personal space. Our dorms also feature common rooms for games, conversation and relaxation. Many have been renovated just this summer!

YOUR MEALS Our Student Life Centre chefs cater to all tastes and appetites, and the menu changes daily. A variety of entrée stations serve up everything from the home-cooked to the gourmet, and there is always pizza, fresh fruit, vegetables and a sandwich bar. Allergies or dietary requirements? No problem! We’re happy to accommodate your specific nutritional needs.

COMMUTER SERVICES If you don’t happen to live in residence you’ll have access to our Commuter Lounge, which comes equipped with a kitchen, tables and chairs, comfortable couches, games and a television. Additionally, you’ll be invited to participate in events organized by and for fellow commuters.

Speakers from various walks of life present unique approaches for entering God’s Word and celebrating as the Body of Christ.

There are perks to being here. As a Providence student you automatically have access to parking, WiFi, residence services, the fitness centre, computer labs, the library and even special lectures by our professors and guest speakers.
