Oaken to enter race for state treasurer’s post By David Blackburn Staff Reporter CADIZ, KY — Mary Ray Oaken is expected to formally kick off her campaign for the state , treasurer's post Wednesday at noon. Oaken, who is the former state tourism secretary, said she will announce her can- didcacy during the Cadiz/Trigg County Chamber of Commerce meeting at Hamtown Restaurant. The Hopkins County native, who has lived in Trigg County for several years, said she is also planning on an nouncing one of her two state Mary Ray Oaken headquarters.
