Technical Information

• Accommodation in Fiesole

Conference participants will stay in Hotel Villa la Stella - Casa per Ferie, Via Iacopone da Todi, 12, Fiesole which is relatively close to the European University Institute.

• How to get from the Airport to the Hotel

The easiest way to reach the accommodation is by taxi. In order to get to the Hotel Villa Stella it takes approx. 10 km and 25-30 minutes by taxi, which are stationed in front of the terminal or can be contacted directly under the following numbers: +39 0554242 - +39055 4390 - +39055 4798). For those participants who arrive at the same time with other participants, we will organize a transfer from the airport/train station to the hotel. Mrs. Julia Amaddeo will contact directly these persons for whom a transfer is organized and inform them about it.

• Reimbursement of taxi fares

For the refund, please make sure that a receipt is issued for the cash expenditure. You can send the receipt and your account details (IBAN, SWIFT-Code) to Mrs. Julia Amaddeo (Piazza Capranica 95, 00186 Roma, [email protected]) following the event to get the expenditures reimbursed.

• How to reach the EUI from the Hotel

The hotel Villa Stella is located in walking distance to the EUI (1,5 km). Also, a public bus can be used (line 7, stop Di San Domenico 06 until Di San Domenico 1, direction Fiesole Piazza Mino), reducing the walking distance to 600 m.
