P R E S S R E L E A S E redos brings anchor tenant the Amor Group into Postcarré

Hamburg, 30 October 2018 – The Hamburg-based redos Group has found a new anchor tenant, the Amor Group, for the Postcarré in the Hessian town of Hanau. The jewellery supplier is renting around 3,600 m2 of office space in the specialist retailer and service centre at Am Steinheimer Tor 5 and thus relocating its headquarters from Obertshausen to Hanau. The tenancy will begin on 1 December. Once Amor moves in, the Postcarré will be fully occupied. redos purchased the property in 2017 as part of the “Bordeaux” portfolio for its special fund “Redos Einzelhandel Deutschland II” with Union Investment as the third-party AIFM. Built in 2010, the property has a total rental area of roughly 17,000 m2, of which around 11,600 m2 is retail space. The rest is used for offices. The Postcarré is let to companies from various sectors, including Deutsche Post, Telekom, Kaufland, Rossmann, Aldi, denn’s Biomarkt and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The complex also has nearly 400 parking spaces.

New anchor tenant a long-term upgrade for the location

Torsten C. Wesch, Managing Director/Head of Fund Management at redos, says: “The Postcarré stands out thanks to the high quality of the location on account of the synergy effects between office use and the local amenities with a focus on specialist retailers. The arrival of Amor will enhance the tenant mix and be another long-term upgrade for the centre.”

Amor’s new Hanau headquarters will be home to the management and to the administration, product, marketing and sales departments with a total of around 150 employees. Hans Schmitt, CEO of the Amor Group, says: “We chose the location due to its excellent transport connections, the proximity to the centre of Hanau and the ideal space. The move is an investment in our future and corresponds with our international expansion. At 3,600 m2, the new premises will offer our customers an

The Postcarré is situated in the north-west of Hanau in the direct vicinity of highway B45. The specialist retailer and service centre is also easy to reach by public transport. The site is connected to the public transport network via several bus stops and the Hanau West train station.

The lease was brokered by the Oberursel real estate firm MH Gewerbe-Immobilien.
