Goal To establish prayer meetings in homes and churches, as well as weekly noon prayer meetings in city halls, and legislatures across the nation and beyond. If one has not been organized in your city and you can help, contact us.

Guarantee If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chr 7:14

We do not mind how many times you copy this document, just so long as you are praying. Letter from the President

Dear Prayer Partners, This Prayer Meeting Directives we trust will give some direction and guidance for your private and/or corporate prayer time.  All Cabinet M.L.A.’s are included for every province and the territories.  All Federal Cabinet Ministers are shown, listing name and position.  The number of all cities with a population of over 5,000 is shown with each province. We would like to see a Prayer Meeting in every City Hall in these cities. Please pray to that end and let us know of anyone who would be interested in starting a prayer meeting.  A list of some Scriptures relating to the Prayer Canada Ministry is included. We feel this would make a meaningful study as you pray for your Nation.  A list of all the Canadian Ambassadors and High commissioners to other countries. They need our prayers as they represent Canada in the countries to which they are sent. Pray that they would have Godly wisdom and guidance. Maybe you would like to write to one.  A list of the Nations of the World and their leaders. (Subject to many changes).  Our aim in Prayer Canada is to establish Prayer Posts in homes, city halls and legislatures across Canada. Prayer Meeting Directives  Pray for the Lord’s direction according to His Word 1 Tim 2:1-5  Prayer Canada Meeting Directives has been put together to fulfill - ‘the first of all’ of 1 Tim 2:1-5. “Pray for those in authority.” There is space available on Provincial list to add local authorities, mayor, alderman etc.  We actually distribute the sheet with the Federal Cabinet and each Provincial Cabinet to the prayers at the meeting so each can pray for a province. Copies can be made of any sheet.  We normally pray for each cabinet minister by name and their position depending on amount of time available.  It is useful to have a Prayer Book register, just an ordinary scribbler is fine. Each one signs their name as they arrive and list any special prayer requests they have. Personal requests are usually left until after the authorities have been prayed for if there is still time.  National issues etc. should also be dealt with. However, your city mayor, aldermen and other civic authorities should be uppermost, then your provincial, then national authorities. Wherever possible include as many as possible because there is a relationship to all these governments.  If your meeting is held in the City Hall or Legislature facilities, remember you are on public property. Respect the privilege you have been given to meet there. Arrive and leave as quietly as possible. We find it is not appropriate to sing in such meetings, also you have only 1 hour so use the time given you to pray. Remember Prayer Canada operates strictly on your voluntary financial help.
