Partnership Sales Manager

Opportunity Oversee development and efforts for a fast-paced social cause event in order to generate maximum revenue for events, based on defined success metrics. Ensure excellent partner relationships and team management.

Responsibilities

o Strategic planning and alignment of key partner sponsors for both client events and GoGreen conferences o Strategize with Event Team to align sponsorship opportunities with the event strategy and goals o Oversee development of partner communications/sales tools (PDFs) for each event including the Sponsor Overview, Exhibitor Overview and Community Partner Overview o Create a Research Guide for each event, defining industries, and subjects to research for sales efforts o Drive and oversee Project Report population of target sponsors, exhibitors and community partners based on event strategies and previous success metrics o Responsible for setting up sponsor, exhibitor, community partner and media (TV, radio, newspaper, magazine, online, blog) partnerships to drive revenue support for event o Ensure partnership acquisition efforts are consistently tracked and, upon confirmation, communicated to Marketing and Event Managers to ensure sponsorship commitments are delivered o Oversee and payments with confirmed Sponsors, Exhibitors and other partners, upload contracts to Basecamp and send partnership confirmation emails o Manage all pre-event and onsite partnership relations and communications, ensuring excellent support, seamless set-up and break-down and an overall excellent experience o Work closely with the Event Management and Marketing teams to ensure all event requirements are met, within the schedule and scope o Train, mentor and manage the partnership management team, ensuring company and event goals are met and weekly and personnel-related issues are managed

o Revise all partnership management master templates as necessary; execute and manage adoption by team o Strategically identify key events for onsite involvement and management o Manage the partnership management team, providing guidance and setting goals on a weekly basis; post, review and hire staff as determined o Actively use company systems to manage projects, i.e. Basecamp, Google Docs and Harvest time tracker.

Skills and Abilities Required

o Proven ability to lead and project manage large and simultaneous projects, defining and implementing goals while maintaining scope, budget and schedule. o Strong client relationship management, sales and customer service skills, with the ability to inform and persuade people. o Ability to work cohesively with a team and also independently with strong initiative and proactive involvement. o Strong written and verbal communication and sales skills, able to deliver clear, concise information to partners, clients and team. o Ability to negotiate contracts to help meet the overall event success metrics. o Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized, ensuring quality and consistent output. o Ability to effectively solve problems, make decisions and take action, exercising solid independent judgment. o Ability to maintain a professional attitude and work independently with little guidance in a fast paced, changing environment. o Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Qualifications and Experience Required

o Four-year college or university degree in , Marketing or Communications preferred or equivalent and/or experience. o Minimum three years in sales or event-related positions where sponsorships were sold and managed. o Good leadership skills with previous project and/or team management. o Strong knowledge of the event , trends, and strategies. o Strong work ethic, and good moral judgment.
