Hawker Beechcraft Corporation Opens International Sales Headquarters

BROUGHTON, U.K. (July 25, 2007) - Corporation (HBC), the world’s leading business, special mission and trainer aircraft manufacturer, opened its new international sales headquarters at a grand opening ceremony at , Broughton (near ), U.K. today. The Rt. Hon. Lord Jones of Deeside P. C. officially opened the new facility and was joined by Don Dwyer, Vice President of Global Commercial Sales at HBC and Sean McGeough, Vice President of International Sales.

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation is known for the world’s best selling midsize aircraft, the Hawker 850XP, part of the original D.H. 125 family. The wing and fuselage for the Hawker 850XP is built by U.K., a major supplier to HBC at their Hawarden Airport site and then shipped to HBC’s Wichita facility for final assembly, paint, test and delivery.

“Locating at Hawarden Airport close to our service center is the ideal headquarters for our international sales efforts,” said Sean McGeough, vice president, International Sales. “This enables us to centralize all customer interfaces – from initial sales inquiries to demonstration flights to maintenance – in one location.”

A reception and design center where customers can make selections for their new aircraft is a key part of the new facility. This includes the latest visualization tools and resources used at design centers located in the company's delivery suites in Wichita, Kan. and Little Rock, Ark. In addition, the international aircraft demonstration team will also be based at the new international sales headquarters.

Sean added: “The Broughton service center has a widespread customer base not only in Europe, but also with longtime customers as far away as Moscow, the Middle East and India. General Manager Bruce Watson and his team have established relationships with customers from these growing areas of the market, and this experience puts us in an excellent position to provide the types of service that new Hawker and Beechcraft customers will expect. As sales in these areas grow, the service center’s support business will grow too.”
