 ONE PERSON INVOLVED IN TRAFFICKING OF COCAINE ARRESTED.  40 Gms OF COCAINE SEIZED.  PRICE OF COCAINE IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET IS APPROXIMATELY RS. 40 Lacs.

A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Insp. Vivek Pathak and consisting of SI Paramjeet Singh, HC Sanjeev Kumar, HC Harender Singh, HC Charan Singh, HC Mahesh Kumar and Ct. Paramjeet Singh under the supervision of ACP Bir Singh and overall supervision of Addl. DCP/Crime Sanjay Bhatia have apprehended a person involved in trafficking of drugs and have recovered 40 Gms of Cocaine. The Cocaine recovered is worth Rs. 40 Lacs in the International Market. Information was received on 07.01.2012 by SI Paramjeet that a person involved in trafficking of drugs in Delhi would come near Chirag Delhi, New Delhi to deliver drug to a contact. On this information a trap was laid and a person was apprehended. He was identified as Kelly Williams Mbane (aged 36 years s/o Mbane r/o Mokapuns Moha, Lesotho South Africa presently residing in Village Chirag Delhi, New Delhi. 40 Gms of Cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered.

Kelly Williams Mbane was subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that he came to Mumbai India in the month of July, 2011 on multiple visa. In Mumbai he came in contact with one person Ali who was involved in supplying of cocaine in Pubs and Bars in Mumbai. Kelly Williams came to Delhi in September, 2011 and started living with his friend Nabeka James in Chirag Delhi with whom he started drug trafficking in Delhi. Here he made new contacts and started supplying cocaine in Delhi to high profile clients and in rave parties in NCR. This is the third case of Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch in the current year pertaining to recovery of Cocaine. Further investigation is in progress.

MURDER CASE OF A BUSINESS WOMAN MISSING FROM LAJPAT NAGAR AND FOUND MURDERED IN GIRIDIH, JHARKHAND WORKED OUT AND ABSCONDING LOVER ARRESTED

With the arrest of accused Sanjay Surana (age 35 years) s/o Manik Chand Surana r/o E-48, Greater Kailash (Part-II), New Delhi, staff of PS Vasant Kunj South, South District has worked out a sensational murder case of a business woman who was reported missing from Lajpat Nagar since 04.07.11 for which a missing report was got lodged at PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and the lady was found murdered in Giridih, Jharkandh.

INCIDENT :

On 04.07.11, a business woman namely Ms. Geeta Vaid went missing from her residence in Lajpat Nagar. The father of the missing lady Shri Ravti Parshad lodged a missing report vide DD No. 21-A, dated 11.07.11 at PS Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. Later, the dead body of the lady was recovered from the forest of Giridih, Jharkandh in the area of PS Bengabadh, Giridih. At the scène of crime, the dead body was found wrapped in a saffron color cloth with sindhoor, lemon, chili, black cloth and bones etc. The concerned police station got the post mortem conducted and cause of death was opined murder, a case vide FIR No. 71/11 dated 11.07.11 u/s 302/201 IPC, PS Bengnabadh , Giridih was registered and investigation was taken up by Giridih police.

INVESTIGATION :

During the course of investigation, the deceased was identified as Ms. Geeta Vaid d/o Shri Ravti Parshad, r/o F-15, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi who was missing from her house since 04.07.11. Ms Geeta Vaid is a business woman who was working with Orange overseas, an Export Company, Lajpat Nagar as Manager since last 6-7 years. She got married in 1998 but was separated from her husband due to strained relations. Further investigation revealed that Ms. Geeta Vaid was in love relation with one Sanjay Surana s/o Manik Chand Surana r/o A-204, Lajpat Nagar-I, New Delhi who used to work in a company named Ginja Industry Pvt. Ltd, Lajpat Nagar which also deals of manufacture of garments.

At scene of crime where dead body of deceased was lying a photograph of Sanjay Surana was also found. During investigation, it was developed by Giridih Police that victim Geeta Vaid who was in love relation with Sanjay Surana and insisting him to get marry with her. Three months back Sanjay Surana had refused to marry her on which she threatened him that she would make a complaint against him in police. Thereafter, she went missing. It has also been developed that Sanjay Surana originally belongs to Sadulpur, District Churu, Rajasthan.

It was also developed that deceased Geeta Vaid had went to Ranchi with Dalip (servant of Sanjay Surana) on 04.07.11 by Parshav Nath Express. During investigation, the family members of deceased has alleged against Sanjay Surana about missing and murder of her daughter. The police officials of Gridhi carried out raids at the residence of Sanjay Surana but he was absconding from his residence at Lajpat Nagar. In the second of week of December 2011, team of police officials of PS Bengabadh, Girdih had come to Delhi in search of accused Sanjay Surana and had conducted raids at various places in Delhi but he could not be found. When Sanjay came to know about hunt by police, he switched off his mobile phone and was thus not traceable. The concerned court of Giridih had issued NBW against Sanjay Surana and his servant Dalip. The police officials of Giridih has provided a copy of warrant, FIR and other documents related to the case to Shri Rajinder Vaid (brother of deceased). Shri Rajinder Vaid has supplied copies of same to police station Vasant Kunj South as the movements of absconding accused were located in the area of PS Vasant Kunj South.

TEAM :

Considering the sensitivity of the case being abduction and murder of a business woman of South Delhi, a team comprising SI Jas Mohinder, SI Rajbir , ASI Ashwani, HC Rohtash, HC Surinder, HC Prabhjit Singh, HC Mahabir, Ct. Surinder and Ct. Sanjeev with Inspr. Naresh Malik under the leadership of Inspr. Gagan Bhaskar (SHO/V.K. South) and overall supervision of Sh. G. Ramgopal Naik, ACP/Vasant Vihar.

INVESTIGATION AND ARREST :

The team so formed made sincere efforts to ascertain the whereabouts of absconding accused. Enquiry from the area where accused used to live before absconding and neighbouring area were conducted and his contact numbers were scanned. Concerted efforts of police team bore results and on 07.01.12 a secret information was received that accused Sanjay Surana would come from Gurgaon via Mahipalpur Road in his Honda Civic Car No. DL-3C-AY-8699. Accordingly, working on said input, the above mentioned police officials laid a trap at Mahipalpur Road opposite CNG pump. At around 08.45 PM, above mentioned car was found coming which was stopped. On enquiry, the person driving the car was identified as Sanjay Surana. He was interrogated about the murder of Geeta Vaid and was arrested in executing the NBW, issued against him in the above case. The concerned police station has been informed and the concerned team is arriving shortly to proceed further into the case.

Finally, with the sincerity and the hard work of police team, an absconding accused wanted in a murder case of business woman has been arrested.

ALERT STAFF OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLE NABBED TWO CAR JACKERS / ROBBERS RED HANDED IN THE MID NIGHT AND RECOVERED ROBBED CAR AND CASH

Staff of Emergency Response Vehicle of PS R.K. Puram nabbed two car jackers / robbers namely Mohit Tokas s/o DharambirTokas r/o H. No. 551A, Village Munirka, New Delhi and Manish Upadhyay s/o Ramyad Upadhyay r/o B-88, CRPF Colony, Najafgarh, New Delhi red handed and recovered robbed Santro Car and cash from their possession.

BRIEF FACTS :

On the night intervening 06/07.01.12, a PCR call regarding car jacking and dumping the victims near Munirka Flyover was received at PS VasantVihar. Immediately, SI Vijay Kaushik, D-4854 along with staff reached at the spot but he did not find the victims at the spot. At the same time, a message with description of robbed vehicle was flashed and all the picket, patrolling and Emergency Response Vehicles staff was alerted and checking of the vehicles started minutely.

At about 1.30 AM, an Emergency Response Vehicle comprising ASI Dharambir, 2583/SD, Ct. Bhagwan Sahai, 2136/SD and Ct. Sunil, 2123/SD was patrolling in the area of R.K. Puram under the supervision of Inspr. K.P. Rana, D-3248 also made intensive searched for the robbed vehicle and finally intercepted the robbed Santro Car near CNG Pump, R.K. Puram and apprehended both accused. They were identified as Mohit Tokas s/o Dharambir Tokas r/o H. No. 551A, Village Munirka, New Delhi and Manish Upadhyay s/o Ramyad Upadhyay r/o B-88, CRPF Colony, Najafgarh, New Delhi. Meanwhile, SI Vijay Kaushik, Emergency Officer PS Vasat Vihar also reached spot and took both accused in PS Vasant Vihar. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 10/11 dated 07.01.11 u/s 392/365/411/34 IPC PS Vasant Vihar was registered and investigation taken up.

INVESTIGATION :

During the course of investigation, statement of victim Sh. Jogesh Pal r/o D-5-II, Harsh Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP was recorded who stated that he works in the Call Centre of Bank of America at SEZ Dundahera, Sector-21, Gurgaon and runs Call Centre Cab to pick / drop the staff. On the intervening night of 06/07.01.12, he along with Guard Jaiveer left to drop the staff in Santro Car bearing Regn. No. DL-1YC-7009. At about 12.30 AM, they reached at Kapoor Hospital, Munirka to drop last female passenger and Guard Jaiveer accompanied the lady staff to her house and he was waiting for him in the cab. At the same time, two boys came and asked him to come out of the cab but due to fear he closed the window glass of the cab. Meanwhile, Guard Jaiveer also reached there and one of the boys caught him from behind and forced him to open the door of cab. When he opened the door of cab, they forcibly sat them on the rear seat and both boys also sat on the front seats and started the car. On way, one of the boys asked them to hand over whatever cash they have otherwise they would naked them and would take their cash. As they were frightened, the complainant gave Rs. 20/- and Guard Jaiveer gave Rs. 100/- to him. Thereafter, they dumped them under Munirka Flyover and fled away with Santro Car.

Meanwhile, another driver of call center Nanak Sharma called on the mobile of Jogesh Pal and he narrated the whole incident. After some time, driver Nanak Sharma called the complainant again and informed him that he has informed PCR about the incident. While they were waiting for police, both boys came again in robbed Santro Car and forcibly sat them in the car. When they reached near CNG Pump, R.K. Puram, police team reached there and apprehended both the accused.

Finally, the with prompt and swift action by ERV staff of PS R.K. Puram, both accused were apprehended red handed, victims could be released and robbed vehicle / cash was recovered.

1. Mohit Tokas (28 years) s/o Dharambir Tokas r/o H. No. 551A, Village Munirka, New Delhi is pursuing his graduation from a prestigious college of Delhi University. He is unmarried. He is a medal winner in National Boxer Championship.

2. Manish Upadhyay (23 years) s/o Ramyad Upadhyay r/o B-88, CRPF Colony, Najafgarh, New Delhi has studied up to 12th Class. He is unmarried. He is an aspiring model and TV artist. He is also playing the role of villain in a coming movie ‘Ghost’.

Dated : 08.01.12 ACCUSED INVOLVED IN SMUGGLING OF FOREIGN LIQUOR ARRESTED AND 62 BOTTLE OF EXPENSIVE FOREIGN LIQUOR AND TATA WINGER CAR RECOVERED With the arrest of one person namely Mahender Singh s/o Bachchan Singh r/o H. No 1442, Gali No. 53, Mold Bund, Badarpur, New Delhi, staff of PS Fatehpur Beri, South District has recovered 62 bottles expensive foreign liquor. BRIEF FACTS :

On 06.01.12, while conducting patrolling in the area, HC Mahabir and Ct. Harbhajan received a secret information regarding movement of a person indulged in smuggling of foreign liquor. HC Mahabir brought thees facts into the notice of SHO/Fatehpur Beri. Immediately, a team consisting of HC Mahabir, HC Rattan, Ct. Harbhajan, Ct. Parshant and Ct. Sandeep was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Anil Sharma, SHO/Fatehpur Beri. A trap was laid at M.G Road near Sultanpur Metro Station. At about 7 PM, a brand new Tata Winger Car was signaled to stop but the occupant, instead of stopping the vehicle, tried to run away. The team acted swiftly and after a brief chase, compelled the driver to stop the vehicle and overpowered the accused. The accused was identified as Mahender Singh S/o Bachchan Singh R/o H. No. 1442, Gali No. 53, Mold Bund, Badarpur, New Delhi. A thorough search of the vehicle was conducted and 62 bottles expensive foreign liquor recovered on the back seat of the car. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 10/12 dated 06.01.12 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act was registered and investigation taken up. INTERROGATION : On sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that he used to procure foreign liquor from Gurgaon and supply the same in famous night clubs of Five Star Hotels & high end social parties / farm houses. On 06.01.12, he had to deliver his consignment to one of his client at Parkarti Marg near Sultanpur Metro Station but nabbed by police team. He further disclosed that he used to use SUV vehicles in transporting the liquor to have the easy deception and to have an element of surprise as these vehicles are being used by the high end segments and officials of embassies. RECOVERY : 1. 62 bottles of expensive foreign liquor. 2. Tata Winger Car.

NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED

Exhibiting brilliant investigation skills and professional competence, the outer district police comprising of P.S Vijay Vihar achieved a major success by arresting one drug peddler namely Geetanjali @ Shinu Aged 35 years w/o Gurcharan Singh R/o A-1/45, Harsh Dev Park, Budh Vihar-II, Delhi and recovered 78 gm smack having a value of rupees 7.8 lakhs in international market from her possession.

BRIEF FACTS:

In view of increasing incident of drug peddler in the area of outer district the staff of PS Vijay Vihar was directed to curb such type of incidents. On 4.1.2012 at about 8 pm a secret information was received that a lady drug peddler will pass by Subedar Wali Gali, Harsh Dev Park who is in possession of smack. Acting on this information a women namely Geetanjali

@ Shinu w/o Gurcharan Singh R/o A-1/45, Harsh Dev Park, Budh Vihar-II,

Delhi was arrested along with 78 gm of smack. In this regard a case vide FIR

No. 2/12 u/s 21/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Vijay Vihar.

On interrogation it was revealed that she has studied upto class XIIth.

Her father was a drug addict and he died in the month of April 2011. Due to financial problem Geetanjali started drug business to earn money. She used to purchase the smack from one Shamshudin who used to meet him somewhere in the area of Seelampur. She does not know the proper address of Shamshudin. She used to sale the smack in the area of PS Vijay Vihar.

She is new in this business and has been selling smack for the past 20 days.

Further investigation is under progress.

Exhibiting brilliant investigation skills and professional competence, the outer district police comprising staff of PS Mangol Puri achieved a major success by arresting one proclaimed offender namely Sandeep @ Kalia S/O Birju R/O R-188, Mangolpuri Delhi, who was declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 21/05 P.S. Vikas Puri Delhi.

BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT:

On 5/1/2012 there was information that one active snatcher namely Sandeep @ Kaliya who is running proclaimed offender in a case of Police Station Vikash Puri would come at R-Block Mangolpuri Delhi. To apprehend the criminal a dedicated team was deputed at R-Block Mangolpuri. At about 10.05 PM, accused Sandeep came at S-Block chowk and he was overpowered by the Police team. He was arrested vide DD No. 36 PP 41.1(C) Cr.PC Police Station Mangolpuri Delhi.

Team:

INTERROGATION

After the arrest of accused he was interrogated at length. He is an active snatcher. Accused Sandeep @ Kalia is an active criminal and having 12 previous criminal involvements. He is BC of Police Station Mangolpuri Delhi. In 2005 he was caught with illicit liquor at Police Station Vikas Puri. He was bail out in this case and after that never attended the court. He was declared proclaimed offender by the Court of Sh Hem Raj Ld MM Tis Hazari Court on 18/2/2011. Further investigation is under progress to ascertain their involvements in other cases. BRIEF FACTS OF THE INCIDENT: There was information that some pick pocketers are committing crime in running buses. To apprehend these types of criminals a dedicated team was formed and deputed to apprehend such criminals. On 5/1/2012 at about 1.15 PM team of Police Station Mangol Puri was checking the buses at S Block Chowk, on seeing the police team one young boy jumped from running bus and started running towards T-Block fish market. On suspicion that boy namely Gurmeet Singh @ Satpal was overpowered by police team and on his search one button actuated knife was recovered from his possession. He is very desperate pick pocketer. He used to commit crime in running Buses. He always carry knife to deter the public. In 2010, he was caught red handed when he was tried to snatch the cash in the area of Pashim Vihar. Further investigation is under progress to ascertain his involvements in other cases. Rakesh, Ct. Narender Kumar, Ct. Arun, Ct. Gulzar, Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Rakesh, Ct. Anand Prakash, Ct. Sonu, Ct. Yashpal and Ct. Baldev under the leadership of Insp Puran Pant (SHO Sultan Puri) was constituted under the supervision of Jasmeet Singh, IPS, ACP/Sultan Puri was constituted. The dedicated team members deployed sources and continuously kept on collecting information through all possible means to achieve the target assigned to them. In this process on 31.12.11, at about 7 PM the team received some specific information through source that a group of 6-7 boys who are desperate robbers cum burglars armed with deadly weapons will gather at F-1 Park, near Shani Bazar road, Sultan Puri, Delhi, who are planning to loot the cash of a liquor shop or a petrol pump and will proceed further to execute their plan. On receipt of this information the team swung into action and laid a trap at the F-1 park, Sultan puri, Delhi. At about 07:30 PM six boys coming from different directions gathered at some isolated stretch of the park. One of the member of police party heard their conversation that they armed with pistols and knives and their plan is to loot the cash of Govt. liquor shop at Raj Park, Sultan Puri, Delhi. The gang leaders Polly and Sarwan have directed their other members that to execute their plan and to make their way to flee away after looting the cash, all will use the weapons they are carrying. As signaled on pre decided manner by the shadow witness, others members of the police party immediately swung into action from all directions. They all narrowed on the dreaded and desperate gang members of nefarious Polly-Sarwan gang. The police party also warned to surrender. But Vijay @ Polly and Sarwan took out pistols, whereas Tullo Khan took out scissor, Krishan and Vikrant took out knives to make their way to flee away but were apprehended by the team members after a brief encounter and scuffling. Their others associate Azgar Sheikh was also apprehended. One loaded 32 bore country made pistol was recovered from Vijay @ Polly, one loaded 315 bore country made pistol was recovered from Dinesh @ Sarwan, one button activated knife was recovered from Krishan, one scissor was recovered from Tullo Khan, one butcher knife was recovered from Vikrant @ Vicky and one rod was recovered rom Azgar Sheikh. Further two snatched/stolen mobile phones of case FIR No. 294/11 PS Sultan Puri and 390/11 PS Sarawati Vihar were also recovered from them. The motorcycle no. DL8SAA0426, Pulsar Black used by Polly and Sarwan to reach the spot was also seized. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 01/12 dated 1.01.12 u/s 399/402/120B/411/34 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act was got registered at Police Station Sultan Puri, Delhi and all six accused were arrested in this case. BLIND MURDER CASE OF DRIVER OF TATA TEMPO, SOLVED WITH THE ARREST OF TWO TRUCK DRIVERS AND ONE SCRAP DEALER

The staff of Police Station Ranhola, West Distt., Delhi has solved a blind murder case of un-identified male dead body, found at lonely place near New Kheri Baba flyover, Ganda Nala opposite Mohan Garden, New Delhi.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ARRESTED PERSONS:

1. Raj Kumar S/o Ashok Kumar R/o H. No. 155, Gali No. 4, Ravi Nagar, Khyala, New Delhi, age- 28 years, education- 8th class, working as driver. 2. Ram Sanjeewan S/o Jagdish, R/o H.No. 188, A block, Chaukhandi, Tilak Nagar, Delhi, Age- 25 years, education- illiterate, working as driver. 3. Mukesh Kumar S/o Sh. Om Prakash, R/o H. No. R- 905, Jawalapuri, Camp No. 5, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi- 87, Age- 26 years, education- 8th pass, running a shop of scrap dealer at Jawalapuri, Camp No. 4, Paschim Vihar, Delhi.

RECOVERY MADE

INCIDENT

On 22/12/11, a PCR call was received at Police Station Ranhola regarding a man is lying near New Kheri Baba flyover. This PCR call was marked to SI Man Mohan, who reached the spot with HC Hari Kishan and found that a dead body was lying. Inspr. A.K. Singh SHO/Ranhola also reached at the spot along with staff. His identity was established as Md. Rayees S/o Sh. Md. Ishlam, R/o VPO Taufir Ganj, PS Narpat Ganj, Distt. Arariya (Bihar), who had been working as a driver at Bhola Transport Company, Keshopur Mandi, New Delhi. Crime team was called at the spot for inspection and taking photographs. Preliminary enquiry revealed that he was missing from the area of police station Dabri since 19th December. His post mortem was conducted at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Mangol Puri, Delhi. After receiving the post mortem report, Doctor opined that the cause of death is due to asphyxia consequent to strangulation via injury number one, homicidal in nature, on which, a case vide FIR No. 07/12, dated 04/01/12, U/S 302 IPC was registered and investigation of the case was taken up by Inspector A. K. Singh, SHO/Ranhola Delhi.

TEAM AND INVESTIGATION

Keeping in view the seriousness of the offence, a team consisting of Inspr. A. K. Singh SHO/Ranhola Delhi, SI Amit Dutt Sharma, SI Rajpal, SI Ranbir Kr. Sharma, HC Gulab No. 1002/W, HC Gajender No. 971/W, Const. Satbir, No 1443/W, Const. Sukhbir, No. 1016/W, and Const. Jitender, No. 1686/W under the supervision of ACP/Nangloi was constituted. The police team put mammoth efforts going through antecedents of the deceased, interrogation of his friends, colleagues and analyzed details of mobile No. of deceased. On investigation, it came to notice that Md. Rayees was driver of Tata 407 mini truck and on 19.12.11, he went for delivery of goods and since then, he was missing. There was one odd incident that was in the mind of investigating team that when the police reached at the spot where dead body was found, already few drivers of keshopur tempo stand were present, where deceased used to park the truck. Keeping this point, efforts were made to ascertain routine of each drivers of keshopur stand. For this purpose their call records were analyzed minutely. One Raj Kumar, who worked as a driver two years before at the transport company of Sarabjeet Singh one of the suspects of above said case was thoroughly interrogated. Study of call details of decease Mohd. Rayees and suspected Raj Kumar and Ram Sanjeean and sustained interrogation of both revealed that Raj Kumar along with his associates Ram Sanjeewan and Raj Kumar @ Vishmbher murdered deceased Mohd. Rayees by strangulating him with the help of a muffler for robbing goods loaded in the said TATA 407. They sold goods to Mukesh Kabari at Camp No. 4, Jawalapuri, Paschim Vihar, Delhi for Rs. 65, 000/- and abandoned the TATA 407 near Mayapuri Fly Over, Ring Raod, Delhi. INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI During sustain interrogation, it came to notice that Raj Kumar was working as driver with Bhola Transport two years ago. He hatched a conspiracy with Ram Sanjeevan and Raj Kumar @ Vishmbher to kill Mohd Rayees and rob goods to fulfill his malicious plan of establishing a transport company. On 19/12/11, Ram Sanjeevan, a driver of the same transport helped Raj Kumar and Vishmbher by informing them about location of Mohd Rayees and about goods in the truck. On this tip, Raj Kumar and Vishmbher reached at Rajapuri Road, where Mohd. Rayees had parked the loaded truck and was waiting till no entry time. Raj Kumar and Vishmbher met him there and asked him to drop at Keshopur stand. Mohd. Rayees knew both so he believed them. Raj Kumar took Mohd. Rayees in confidence and drove the truck himself. At a secluded patch, he with the help of Vishmbher, strangulated Mohd. Rayees using the muffler, dumped his body near Najafgarh drain and decamped. They sold goods of the truck the same night and left the truck near Mayapuri Fly Over. Efforts are on to trace Vishamber.
