Rebate for Membership in a Local Piping Society

The BC Pipers’ Association encourages you to support the activities of your local piping society. Within the BCPA's competition sanctioning jurisdiction there are four such local piping societies acknowledged by the BCPA:

·  Kelvern Celtic Society (BC Interior)

·  Vancouver Island Pipers Club (Vancouver Island)

·  Washington Pipers Association (Washington state)

·  Oregon Pipers Society (Oregon state)

Since 1999, in recognition of the activities these local piping societies provide, the BCPA has provided their members an opportunity to credit a portion of the official annual dues paid to their local piping society toward their annual BCPA membership fee. Beginning in the 2012-13 season, the process of obtaining the credit was changed. BCPA members will pay their membership in full, then, when they renew membership in their local piping society, members will be able to apply for a rebate.

In order to apply for the rebate, the BCPA members themselves must provide one of the following:

·  A photocopy of your local piping society membership card showing that it covers at least nine months of 2018

·  Confirmation from the local piping society’s contact person verifying that your membership in your local piping society covers at least nine months of 2018.
