Subject: Request for Project Grant Proposals for 2015-2016

BACHAO is a US-registered non-profit public charity organization based in Californiaformed to help the underprivileged and deprived people of Bangladesh. BACHAO typically partners with other non-profit organizations in Bangladeshto provide charity services in the poor neighborhoods and villages.

Non-profit charitable organizations in Bangladesh interested in partnering with BACHAO are now requested to submit a formal application for possible funding for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. BACHAO will consider any project that deals with improving the socio-economic condition of the underprivileged people in Bangladesh. However, preference would be given to projects focused on education & healthcare of the children and vocational and life-skill trainings. Projects in the villages and on-going projects that can clearly demonstrate the need/opportunity for expansion but have been unable to do so because of lack of funding would also be preferred.

Projects will be selected for funding based on merit, the requesting organization’s credibility and its prior experience in performing similar charity work. BACHAO funding is not available for organizations run by individuals or those organizations that do not have a track record. BACHAO’s organizational structure and project selection process are available on BACHAO’s website (

All organizations seeking funding, including those that may have received funding from BACHAO in the past, should submit their proposals using the prescribed format provided on BACHAO’s website. The project proposals may be submitted through email, fax or mail. The proposal must clearly delineate how BACHAO funding will be used to expand the charity work.
