40 Days of Prayer for Uganda

1. Ask God to bless all family life

2. Pray for children abducted by LRA that if they escape they will be accepted in society

3. Pray for children conceived in rape to be loved

4. Pray for a change of attitude to widows who are dispossessed and thrown out of their houses

5. Pray for fidelity in marriage to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS

6. Pray for compassion for those women who are barren

7. Pray for healthcare for expectant mothers

8. Pray God has mercy on the souls of children sacrificed, whose bodies are buried beneath new houses

9. Ask God to stretch out his hand to still the storms (many people killed by lightening this year)

10. Pray for commitment to maintain the buses (many catch fire killing the passengers)

11. Pray that the rich will have compassion and give to the people in need

12. Pray that all Christians, including the clergy, will remember God's command to tithe

13. Pray that all people will remember there is a higher authority and God will judge everyone by their actions

14. Pray that President Musevene will relinquish power and resign

15. Pray for the government of Uganda to adjust to change

16. Pray for the end of corruption amongst government ministers

17. Pray God will change mens' attitudes of greed and lies

18. Pray that church leaders will walk according to the Word of God and lead by example

19. Pray against those who practice witchcraft

20. Thank God for the fertile land 21. Pray that the school will grow in size and in structure especially the dormitory and the nursery section.

22. Pray that the children in the school and the community will grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord.

23. Pray that the school will be of help to the community as it carries on it community based projects (The clinic, goat and other projects).

24. Pray that the WSM will get more people to support and sponsor more children and pray for the schools we are linked to in Norwich.

25. Pray that the school’s academic performance will improve every other day so that it can become a model school in Uganda.

26. Pray that the children will through Christ overcome their fears (because of the situations around them) to grow with self-esteem and confidence.

27. Pray that all the projects that have been started (e.g. building project) and those that are yet to start will be accomplished successfully.

28. Pray for the teachers to be child friendly, committed, God fearing and men and women of integrity.

29. Pray for the school management committee and the trustees of WSF/WSM that God gives them wisdom to plan for the school.

30. Pray for the guardians, care-takers and parents of the school children to be responsible parents and to love the children.

31. Pray against domestic violence, gender-based violence, violence against children and child labour.

32. Pray against child sacrifice in Uganda as we have lost 3000 children since 2006 because of ritual murders.

33. Pray that all the pupils who study from the school will grow up into mighty men and women of this nation and the world.

34. Pray that the school will get sister schools all over world so that exchange learning programmes are made possible.

35. Pray that the directors, management committee, teaching staff and non- teaching staff will grow and work in perfect unison to focus on the same goal.

36. Pray for the Annual Children’s convention which we hold every November that God blesses all the children.

37. Pray that the school will acquire more facilities like land and technology equipment to facilitate in the learning process. 38. Pray that all the school activities will be centred on only CHRIST and the church that we have planted near the school.

39. Pray for all the prayer and financial supporters of WSM to continue being faithful and to be blessed abundantly.

40. Pray that no weapon fashioned against the school/ WSM in any way shall prosper and that we continue to shine for Christ for the healing of the nations.
