3 Must- See Amusement Parks

Even if amusement parks are designed for kids, I still think they’re one of the best ways to bring out the inner child in anyone and are a good day trip for student travel. There are tons of crazy parks across the country, and I’ve put together a list of my top 3 favourites.

1)Legoland – Carlsbad, California

This park is based off the fun, creativity- inspiring toy, but it takes Lego- construction and fun to a whole new level. The park is decorated with awe- inspiring Lego statues and the rides are designed to look like they’re built out of Lego bocks. Another cool attraction is the Mindstorms ride where you can program computerized robots to make your ride as smooth or intense as you want.

2)The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Orlando Florida

If you’re even a small fan of the Harry Potter series, this amusement park by Universal Studioswill give you a magical experience. There are plenty of shops at Honeydukes to visit and you can even ride a Chinese Fireball or Hungarian Horntail in the Dragon Challenge.

3)Zero Gravity – Dallas, Texas

This park has made it onto many “Fun Things To Do in Texas” lists because it has to be one of the most intense amusement parks in the entire country! In addition to being able to bungee jump and experience 4 Gs of force, the Nothing But Net SCAD (suspended catch air devise) ride is so thrilling, it’s been used to test theories about how your brain perceives time in near- death experiences. With that being said, the ride at Zero Gravity has a clean safety record – no one has even broken a bone. If you’re looking for the ultimate amusement park thrill, this is definitely the place to go!
