materials required for consideration for these awards.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NOMINATOR (Administrative or Academic Faculty):
A. The nominator submits: 1) the nomination form entitled: “NSHE Nomination Form for Regents’ Scholar Award,” and 2) a formal letter of nomination addressing the award criteria found on the nomination form. You may download an electronic copy at: http://www.unlv.edu/provost/awards-recognition. PLEASE NOTE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW.
B. Nominator, please note that the nominee assembles the materials listed below. The nominee’s materials may be submitted with “A” above, or separately, no later than 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017. These materials may be delivered to FDH 706 or they may be sent via campus mail to mail code 1099.

These materials may be submitted with “A” above, or separately, no later than 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017, in the Office of the Senior Vice Provost. These materials may be delivered to FDH 706; or they may be sent via campus mail to mail code 1099.
PLEASE NOTE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW.
1. A current copy of your résumé.
2. One-page personal statement in response to the following question:
“How would you assess your experience at UNLV academically and personally, and how has your UNLV experience, in the broadest sense, prepared you for achieving your future goals?”
3. One-paragraph biography
4. Additional letters of support are optional.
NO OTHER SUPPORTING MATERIALS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduate student nominees must be currently enrolled in no fewer than six (6) graduate credits in the semester in which they are nominated.
2. Graduate student nominees must have been accepted to graduate standing by the time the award is granted.
3. Leadership and service accomplishments must have occurred while the nominee is a registered NSHE student.
