How students will earn a grade / Content will be delivered through Odysseyware, an online course program. Unit and mastery tests are averaged for a final grade for the course.
Transcription of Grades / The student’s failing grade will remain on the student’s transcript. The recovered grade will be the average of the original final grade with the Odysseyware grade. For example: If a student failed ELA 8 during the regular school year with 55% and then received an 82% in Odysseyware during summerschool, his/her transcript would reflect two ELA8 courses: One will be the original course attempted and the other will be the 82% being averaged with the 55% for his/her cumulative grade point average. The original course grade will be excluded from the GPA calculation.
