2015 Transport and Logistics Environmental Scan (E-Scan)

TLISC produces the E-Scan annually to report on skills and workforce needs of the Transport and Logistics Industry. A skilled and adaptable workforce is vital to the Transport and Logistics Industry continuing to underpin Australia’s economic activity and productivity.

The E-Scan provides a comprehensive snapshot of the industry’s challenges and opportunities in the coming year.

Challenges which could be relevant to your business include:

 changes and developments in supply chains  growth in online shopping.  an ageing workforce  demographic or regional factors in attracting new entrants .  new systems of work based on changing technology  the impact of broader shifts in the economy

The E-Scan is developed over a short but intense period to capture views and evidence across the industry in real time. TLISC uses this intelligence to inform industry and policy makers about industry priorities, skill shortages and Vocational Education and Training (VET) outcomes and practices across all Transport and Logistics sectors.

We invite your input into the development of the 2015 E-Scan. There are a number of ways to have your say. Have your say
