Job Summary: The Spears FamilyYMCA is looking for responsible and dynamic individuals with a passion for aquatics. Duties include opening the pool, guarding and assisting members. Must have excellent customer service skills.Must be at least 16 years of age. Strong swimming skills are a must. Job Summary: The Reidsville YMCA is looking for responsible individuals to work as a year round lifeguard. Duties include guarding members and guests, checking chemical readings, and assisting patrons. Preference is given to anyone who can work daytime hours as well as weekend shifts. Applicants MUST have good customer service skills and be at LEAST 16 years old.
Required qualifications: Current American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Emergency Oxygen Administration, First Aid. Must be at least 16 years old.

Can you effectively communicate with students the concepts of the following strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly; as well as non-competitive strokes i.e. sidestroke and elementary backstroke. Job Summary: Under the direction of the Wellness Director, the Personal Trainer is responsible for helping individual members achieve personal fitness goals through one-on-one training sessions. The Personal Trainer must be comfortable with and confident training both male and female clients in all aspects of fitness.

Preferred qualifications: An advanced degree in health/fitness/wellness or related field. CPR, First, and AED certified.

Job Summary: The Fitness Attendant is responsible for serving as a liaison between the participants, members, and professional staff concerning all fitness equipment, programs and policies. Additionally- Fitness Attendants have a wide array of duties, including providing member orientations to equipment and the Fitness Center, cleaning equipment, rule enforcement and most importantly member engagement to build the community of the YMCA.
