This is an exciting time to join Waverley Studio College. Waverley Studio College opened on September 3rd 2013 to Year 10 and 12 pupils. Specialising in Health and Social Care, Business, and ICT, the College is focused on developing and preparing young people for the world of work.

As part of the exciting growth plans for the College, we are expanding our team to meet future requirements. We are looking for an experienced and influential Humanitiesteacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching and student progress within a successful secondary school. They will be expected to provide outstanding lessons to ensure excellence and achievement for all learners, with a true commitment to raising standards. You will need to have experience of using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning ofHumanitiesthroughout the college across the full age and ability range. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships within the Humanities team and college as a whole.

The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
