All STEPs delivery is undertaken by a supply chain of high quality, mainly charitable, organisations with expertise in working with disabled people. This role is key to managing performance in the supply chain to fulfil the requirements of our Specialist Employability Support Contract.

What you will be doing  Work closely with partners to ensure the needs of the customers are fully met  Add value and support to each partner and to ensure an efficient and effective operation.  Ensure that the performance criteria are set for each partner, under-pinned by performance management trackers and monitoring on a regular basis.  Underperformance is supported with the collation of best practice, partner communication, partner forums and in-depth action planning.  Communicating performance in a timely manner to the Board and Operational teams, clearly and accurately using MI via regular performance teleconferences, senior management meetings, monthly Directors reports and regular DWP performance reviews.  Support the National Contract Manager to deliver regular Partner Forums and Practitioner Forums.  Support the National Contract Manager to ensure the quality of the SES provision is delivered to a high standard and in a compliant manner.  Develop relationships and networks with key stakeholders including employers,  DWP partnership team, JCP, regional and national Third Party links, and support each partner at a local level when required.  Liaise and work closely with the business development and implementation teams to procure and implement any new contracts STEPs may win as a prime contractor.  Work closely with any prime contractors to implement any new contract STEPs secures on a subcontractor basis.  Observe and adhere to our customer service standards so that all customers are provided with the same high standard of service that maximises their chances ofsecuring sustainable employment.  Ensure compliance with DWP (PAT) Audit is adhered to, and work closely alongside the STEPS National Contract Manager to achieve PAT accreditation.  Always work in a way that adheres to STEPs’ company policies (including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Lone Working and Data Security) so you, customers and colleagues are protected at all times.
