Larry Haler

Statement: Larry Haler worked with Senate leaders to pass a no-new-taxes budget that added $1 billion to schools. He is a leader in the energy field, working for laws that reward innovation and create jobs. Haler has worked to cut bureaucracy and government growth, while protecting priorities like education and public safety. His work on higher education brought the four-year WSU campus to the Tri-Cities. Larry Haler is a hard-working legislator who listens, and who shares our values.

Eric Kalia

Elected Experience: Eric Kalia is a student at Columbia Basin college near his graduation as a medical technician to help the patients. Eric is a toastmaster and a member of the Kadlec Hospital Auxiliary. Eric has been around the world with his family when he was eight years old. Eric is an advocate for drug reform, proper implementation of Affordable Care Act, for stopping the growth of college tuition and hidden fees, minimum wage that helps both the workers and the businesses, and if elected to the state legislature will always be available to serve the people.

Statement: Eric will always give the highest attention to the homeless, the disabled, minorites, and healthcare. In the past, too much emphasis was placed on mostly inner-city problems, and not enough on sexual offenders, violent criminals, and fixing despairities in sentencing. In a state where marijuana is legal, Eric will work to free inmates and felons from charges relating to marijuana, and ensure fair justice is available to everyone.
