A. Introduction

C. Preparation of Bids
ITB 11.1 (b) / In accordance with ITB 12 and ITB 14, the following schedules shall be submitted with the bid, including the priced Bill of Quantities for ad measurement contracts and Schedule of Prices for lump sum contracts: Schedule of equipment and, key personnel shall be provided as per the qualification criteria
ITB 11.1 (g) / In case of JV: Responsibility of all JV members should be clearly mentioned
ITB 13.1 / Alternative bids shall not be permitted.
ITB 13.2 / Alternative times for completion shall not be permitted.
ITB 14.6 / The prices quoted by the Bidder shall not be subject to adjustment during the performance of the Contract.
ITB 15.1 / The prices shall be quoted by the bidder and shall be paid in: Nepalese Rupees
ITB 18.1 / The bid validity period shall be 90 days after the deadline date for Bid submission as specified in ITB
ITB 19.1 / A bid security shall be required and the amount of bid security shall be: 2.5% of bid price including all applicable TAX/VAT in favor Nepal Administrative Staff College in the form of Cash Deposit or Bank Guarantee. Incase of Cash Deposit, the amount shall be deposited into Mega Bank A/C No: 0070060025037, Jawalakhel Branch in the favour Nepal Administrative Staff College.
The Bid Security Validity Period: 120 Days from after Bid Submission Date as specified in ITB 22.1
The Bid Security of unsuccessful bidders will be released as soon as the contract is made with successful bidder.
ITB 20.1 / In addition to the original of the bid, the number of copies is: One which shall be substantially the same as the original.
ITB 20.2 / The written confirmation of authorization to sign on behalf of the Bidder shall consist of:
(a) The name and description of the documentation required to demonstrate the authority of the signatory to sign the Bid such as a Power of Attorney.
(b) “Bids submitted by bidder or intended JV shall include an undertaking signed by all parties (i) stating that all parties shall be jointly and severally liable, and (ii) nominating a Representative who shall have the authority to conduct all business for and on behalf of any and all the parties of the JV during the bidding process and, in the event the JV is awarded the Contract, during contract execution.”

E. Evaluation and Comparison of Bids
ITB 32.1 / A margin of preference shall not apply.ITB 40.1 / Within thirty (30) days of the receipt of notification of award from the Employer, the successful Bidder shall furnish the performance security of 5% in accordance to performance security form included in Section 8 (Contract Forms), or another form acceptable to the Employer. The performance security can be accepted in the form of Cash or Bank Guarantee.
The performance security will be released only after the completion of works as per the Scope of Works and the final bill verified by the Employer Consultant Engineer.
