The Pennsylvania Game Commission is soliciting sealed bids for a Tract Boundary Survey and Tract Boundary Line Marking.

General Scope of Work:

Tract Boundary Survey:

The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) seeks Professional Surveying Services for an Alta Survey on land vested in the Commonwealth by deed dated June 21st 2012. The Tract consists of 545 acres, more or less, in Cranberry Township, Venango County and adjoins Game Land number 45.

Tract Boundary Line Marking:

The scope of work is to clear and blaze when applicable, paint, tag the lines and number corners for the identified PGC parcel. All work will be performed in accordance with the Pennsylvania Game Commission Survey Section Specifications, which are outlined in the PGC Boundary Line Marking Specifications Document.

The Project is a 545+/- Acre site located in Cranberry Township, Venango County and consists of 30,500+/- lineal feet of boundary line of which approximately 9,100 is along existing and previously established SGL 45 boundary.

The Contractor/Bidder can and is encouraged to do a field site inspection before submitting their Bid. If requested, a PGC Surveyor can be available for the site visit. This will be scheduled through the contact information supplied below.

Bids will be publicly opened and read in the Division of Contracts and Procurement, 2001 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9797, on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 2:00 PM.

When bidding, amount bid should be in dollars and cents---no fractions of a cent will be accepted. PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR WORK WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: 1.) 25% OF BID= ALTA BOUNDARY SURVEY COMPLETED 2.)25% OF BID= ALTA SURVEY MAP SUPPLIED 3.) 50% OF BID=BOUNDARY LINE MARKING PAID PER LINEAL FOOT BASED ON 30,500 LF. AT 20% INTERVALS

CONTRACT TERM. The Contract shall commence upon delivery of purchase order to Contractor (estimated to be April 15, 2013) and shall terminate on June 15, 2013. All work must be completed and accepted by that date.

Bidders may visit the site to ascertain the pertinent conditions such as access, site terrain and vegetation. Contact Darell Gibbs, PGC Surveyor, at 814-677-5973 to get directions to the site. Frank Miller and Julie Bucks can also offer assistance in obtaining a site visit. The site is open to the public, however interested bidders should notify one of the listed PGC staff prior to a site visit.

Enclosed with the Proposal Form is the ALTA ACSM Land Title Survey Standard document effective February 23, 2011, The PGC Requirements for Surveys Specification Document, & The Boundary Line Marking Specifications Document. Standard Survey Contract Provisions are listed in this document as well. A Location Map, Boundary Map, Various GIS Maps are all supplied in this packet to assist in accurately determining a Bid for this Project.

The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order.
