Program: ACE Mentoring What: A mentor program for students interested in the fields of Architecture, Construction and Engineering. Where: Students meet at Architecture & Engineering Firms in Seattle and the Eastside.

1 When: ACE kick-off meeting is the end of October. Students meet every-other- week throughout the school year culminating with final group project presentations in May. Open to: All students’ grades 9 thru 12. Register: www.acementor.org and click on the student tab. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note: A signed parent consent form needs to be scanned or mailed to ACE Mentoring, for a student to be placed on a team.

Program: Mercer Slough Internship What: A year-long program to assist teens in becoming informed stewards of their local community through mentoring, hands-on learning, restoration, and stream monitoring. Where: Mercer Slough EE Center 1625 118th Ave. S.E. Program: Tech Prep classes What: Students enrolled in Tech Prep classes and earned a “B” or higher grade, are encouraged to sign up online for college credits Cost: There is a $46 annual fee, regardless of how many college credits a student earns in one year.
