APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE

International Partnership Delegation Grant

The Padnos International Center needs the original of this application. A letter of support from your unit head can be supplemented instead of the unit head acknowledgement found on the application below. Also, please include a copy of your resume or CV.

A faculty/staff review committee will make recommendations to Padnos International Center about funding of individual applications.

  1. Why are you interested in participating in the 2018 Partnership Delegation? Please include your professional and personal goals for participating in this program.
  1. Describe how this proposal connects to the internationalization or strategic goals of your unit, college or division?
  1. Outline a plan for applying your experience to your work, your unit, and if faculty, your teaching and research.
  1. Describe your previous opportunities for international travel, if any.
  2. Describe your international involvement while employed at GVSU. This may include: hosting visiting scholars, supporting international student activities, advising students interested in studying abroad, participating in committees which have an emphasis on internationalizing the curriculum or department, or other related activities.

APPLY FOR YOUR PASSPORT ASAP!We will be booking flights within two weeks from the grant application deadline. If you do not have a passport that is valid until September 2018 or later, please apply for one as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will be asked to expedite the processing of your passport if you are selected to participate in the program.
