Cap and Gown Day Information
On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Brookland Northeast will celebrate its annual Cap and Gown Day during morning services. This event is a vision of Pastor Johnson that is designated to honor graduates at the Northeast campus.
If you or your child is being promoted or will be graduating at the end of the 2017 school year from 5th, 8th, & 12th grades, college, or graduate school, please complete the attached form. The form can be returned at the end of services in the foyer at a designated table. Or, you may email the form on or before May 14, 2017. Please read the instructions below for those who will be participating in the honor ceremony.
Instructions for Graduates of High School, College or Post-College
- Please come dressed in your school’s cap and gown.
- Report PROMPTLY to the Room 1 for logistics and line up by 9: 30 a.m.
- Remain for a reception immediately after worship services.
Instructions for Students Promoted from Elementary and Middle School
- Please come dressed in your Sunday best attire. We prefer that you wear Black and White, but this is not mandatory.
- Report to Room 2by 9:30 a.m. for directions. Please be on time and in place. You will be directed by the Ushers.
- Remain for a reception immediately after worship services.
