TRÓCAIRE EMERGENCY APPEAL to help the people of SYRIA & PHILIPPINES - a second collection will taken up at all Masses this weekend 16th & 17th November after Communion. Over 8 million people are in desperate need of life-saving shelter, food and medicine. Trócaire has been delivering vital emergency aid. This special collection will help to get food, water, clothing, shelter, medical and psycho-social supports to those most in need.

MASSES FOR THE DEAD ON NOVEMBER LISTS: Our next Mass for the Dead on November Lists is on Friday night next, Nov. 22nd at 7.00 p.m. They will be included at the 10.30 a.m. Mass on Saturday morning.The other Masses for the Dead will take place on the following Friday Nov. 22nd. We bring to your attention the Poster in our Church opposite Our Lady’s Altar containing the names of the Deceased of the past year (Nov. 1st, 2012, to 31st Oct., 2013). The special Annual Mass for the Deceased on this List organised by the Parish Liturgy Group, will take place on Friday, November 29th at 8.00pm. All are most welcome to join us.

CCTV & INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM: The Parish Finance Council are happy to announce that we now have installed a CCTV and Induction Loop System in our Church. This is in keeping with best practice of Health and Safety for all our patrons in our church. We remind those with hearing aids to get the benefit of the Induction Loop System you must turn it to the ‘T’ position. We have also had to do a major job in renewing over thirty bulbs of our lighting system and replace some of the lights.

Our collectors will be calling to your area in the next forthnight. We depend on your generosity to make up our own Hampers or any item suitable for auction.
