Quebec Educational Tour
June 10 – 13th, 2009

As the managing Director of Collins Tours and Consulting I would like to welcome you on your 2009 Quebec City Educational Tour. Below is your detailed tour itinerary. I would like you to read it carefully so that you are familiar with how you will experience this amazing city. We have been careful to choose a fabulous hotel, a fine selection of restaurants, and include just the mix of both educational and fun acitivites to keep you focused and fueld throughout! Enjoy your tour!
Wed. June 10th Day 1
Please arrive by 7:00 am so that you can load your luggage and get comfortably organized in your seat
7:30 am – Coach departs school
8:45 am – We will stop for a 15-20 min snack break (Price not included)
11:30 – 12:30 pm - Enjoy lunch at the Back forty restaurant, Saint Andre NB (Cost Included; Advance meal selection form required)
4: 30 pm – Check into the luxurious Lowes Le Concord Hotel. Time to freshen up!
6:00 pm– Depart the hotel for La Vielle Maison Du Spaghetti and a 6:15 pm dinner reservation (Included)
7:45 – 9:15 pm - Your English speaking guides will meet you at the restaurant for an evening walking tour of Old Quebec (Included)
9:30 pm – The coach takes you back to the hotel for a well-earned rest!
Thurs. June 11th Day 2
9:00 – 9:45 am – Enjoy your fresh continental breakfast from the Zone Café (Included). Don’t forget about your meal order forms. Your guide and chaperones pick up breakfast and bring it to the hotel
10:00 - Board the coach for your transfer out to CanyonFalls
10:30 -12:15 pm – Enjoy CanyonSainteAnneFalls (Included)
12:30 pm – Board the coach for your short drive to the sugar shack
1:00 -2:30 pm – Enjoy your unique lunch at Relais Des Pins, an authentic sugar shack with maple taffy on the snow!(Included)
2:30 pm – We bid farewell to the sugar shack and head to Sainte Anne De Beaupre and the Basilica
3:00 -4:00 pm- Meet your English guides for a detailed tour on the history and architecture of the Basilica (Included)
4:00 pm- Board the coach for out trip to the Galeries De Le Capitale Mall and some exciting shopping, dining and entertainment
4:30-5:45 pm – Shopping at the Galleries De la Capital Mall
5:45 -6:15 pm- Enjoy dinner at any of the mall’s numerous eating establishments (not included in price)
6:45-7:45 pm – Time for your 3D IMAX presentation of Under the Sea (not included)
7:45-9:00 pm – Do some last minute shopping before we head back to the hotel
9:00– Board the coach for your return trip to the hotel (arrive approx 9:30 pm)
Fri. June 12th Day 3
8:00 – 8:30 am – Enjoy another fresh continental breakfast from the Zone Café (Included)
8:45 am- Board the coach for your short transfer to BattlefieldPark
9:00-10:30 am- VisitBattelfieldPark and journey back in time during your Odyssey experience
10:30 am- Group moves to the Citadel for a guided tour
10:45 – 11:45 am- Enjoy your English guided tour of the Quebec Citadelle (Included);
Enjoy walking tour of old Quebec with tour guide with time for lunch (Not included) and shopping; Noon – 2:30 pm
2:30 pm – The coach will take you back to hotel to change before Dinner and the highlight of many tours, the Disco Cruise
4:45 p.m.- Board the coach for your transfer to the restaurant
5:00 -6:00 pm- Enjoy another tasty meal at the Cote a Cotes Resto Grill (Included)
6:00 p.m.– Time for an optional ride on the funiculaire (Not included)
7:30 – 10:00- Head to the dock and board your ship for this evening’s Disco Cruise (Included)Return to hotel by 10:30 pm
Sat. June 13th Day 4
7:15 am – Please check out of your room this morning
7:45 am – Board the coach for our quick trip to La Vielle Maison Du Spaghetti and a hearty buffet breakfast (reservation 8:00 am) (Included)
9:00 am- Board the coach and depart Quebec City
We will make a short snack stop (coffee, juice, snacks etc.) this morning approx 1.5 -2 hours outside of Quebec City (Not included)
2:00-3:00 pm- WE will break for lunch today at Irving Back Forty restaurant in Saint Andre, N.B (Included)We expect to be back in Saint John at approximately 7:00 pm
