PSAP Conference Call Meeting

May 5, 2016, 1400 hours

Present on the call:

Lt. Kevin Haight, ISP Anna Pearson, Fremont County

Delisa Orren, ISP Carmen Boeger, Nampa PD

Bruce Bowler, Madison County Trisha Marosi, ISP

Wendy Berrett, Whitcom DeAnn Taylor, Cassia County

Charlene Holbrook, Post Falls PD

Lt. Haight: Both Nominations are from District 4. Rebecca Simpson from Blaine County, Christi Ritchie from Twin Falls. Both are very qualified for the position.

Wendy: Does anyone know either of them?

Carmen: Christi reached out to me last weekend; she is very interested in becoming a member of the PSAP Committee.

Kevin: Knows Christi not well, but on a first name basis.

Kevin: Has met Rebecca from Blaine County.

Delisa: It seems as Christi has support from the Chief in Twin Falls.

DeAnn: Knows Christi from Twin Falls and knows her Lieutenant.

Carmen: Talked about Christi, how she could help DeAnn with hosting among other things. Christi was wondering what kind of commitment being on the committee was.

Kevin: We lost a city 911 dispatcher with Donielle’s resignation this would be gaining that back. He has approached Robin from Blaine County to apply for the nomination herself or one of her employees.

Carmen: Twin Falls will be getting a new structure with a new manager this year.

Trisha: Noticed that Christi has just attended an instructor development. Does anyone know what that was for? No one knew.

Kevin: If it had not been for Chief Kingsbury we would not have had the nomination.

Bruce: Thinks going with Christi would be the best choice.

Kevin: He talked to Robin Stellers with Blaine County and she will be at the next PSAP meeting.

Bruce: Made a motion to nominate Christi.

DeAnn: 2nd the motion.

Voted: The motion passed unanimous for Christi Richie.

Carmen suggested that maybe have Christi go to the Blackfoot meeting. Reach out to the Chief and see if that is possible.

As a reminder, we will need a new Vice Chairman, and vote on our other position.
