THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF INDEPENDENT DISTRICT I-20, MUSKOGEE COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, MET IN SPECIAL SESSION, JANUARY 13, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. BOARD OF EDUCATION SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY (B.E.S.T.) CENTER, 202 WEST BROADWAY, MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA. REQUIREMENTS OF TITLE 25, O.S. (1977 SUPP) SS 311, WERE MET AS FOLLOWS: ON JANUARY 9, 2014, THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE OF THIS SPECIAL MEETING WAS FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK OF MUSKOGEE COUNTY, OKLAHOMA, AND BY POSTING THE AGENDA AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS IN THE FRONT ENTRANCEWAY OF SAID B.E.S.T. CENTER AND ON THE DISTRICT WEB SITE, PRIOR TO 8:00 A.M. ON JANUARY 10, 2014.

Roll call listed three members present and one member absent.

3. STANDING RESOLUTIONS

Motion made by Keith Biglow seconded by Larry Leatherman to APPROVE Standing Resolution A & B as listed:
A. BIDS
1. Oakridge Builders the lowest responsible bidder for a total cost of $3,621,000.00 on Project Alice
Robertson Math & Science Center #1407-505.
2. Hemphill Services the lowest responsible bidder for a total cost of $2,627,500.00 on Rougher Athletic Training Center #1411-705.03.
3. Dirt Wurx the lowest responsible bidder for a total cost of $15,925.00 on project #1409 Irving Elementary Fence Replacement.
B. SURPLUS
Press box units located at MHS Baseball and Softball facility and seek sale of items.
VOTES: AYES; LEATHERMAN, BIGLOW AND SAUNDERS. BARTON ABSENT. MOTION CARRIED
