2015 INDOOR WINTER 3-POSITION SMALLBORE TOURNAMENT

DATES: February 1, 2015

LOCATION: Portland and Rifle Pistol Club

RULES: Current NRA rules for approved tournaments will govern.

ENTRIES LIMITED: Entries will be limited to two relays of 15 competitors for a total of 30 entries. Advance entries may be made but are not required. Entries can be made at the range prior to the calling of the second relay. No post entry fee will be charged.

FEES: An entry fee of $10.00 will be charged for the match. This includes the NRA registration fee and range use fee.

SQUADDING: The match will be squadded. Squadding will be done at the range at the time of registration, if needed.

SCORING: Scoring will be done by the statistics officers at the match.

CLASSIFICATION: The NRA classification system will be used. Competitors without a valid classification card or Score Record Book will compete with the highest group of classified shooters. NRA has requested that names be listed exactly as shown on NRA membership card and that the complete NRA I.D. number be listed

TIME: First relay will be called no later than 2:00 pm (following the pistol match).

CHALLENGES: A challenge fee of $1.00 will be charged for each challenge made. See NRA rules for correct procedure.

MATCH SCHEDULE:

Conventional Prone: 60 shots (6 targets)

Conventional 3-position:

Last 2 targets of Prone can be used for the prone position in this match

20 shots (2 targets) in each of three positions (60 shots)

Positions will be Prone, Standing, and Kneeling (target – A17)

10 shots fired on each target, each to be loaded and fired as single shots

AWARDS: Open, class/category medals will be awarded for each match. There must be a minimum of five competitors in a class/category. If there are fewer than 5 entries, those competitors will be moved to the next higher class. Lower classes will not be moved to High Master. If there are fewer than 5 High Masters then High Masters will compete for open awards only. Individuals winning an open award will not be entitled to a class award in the same match.

RANGE FACILITIES: Indoor, heated and ventilated. Fifteen (15) lighted firing points at 50 ft, restrooms and lounge are available. Coffee will be provided. There is a fridge available to those who bring food or drinks. The door will be open for participants who are not members of Portland Rifle and Pistol Club
