Our school team has been working on the Real World Design Challenge (RWDC) this whole semester. We are designing an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). Our school team needs support to attend the RWDC National Championship in Washington, DC April 23-24, 2016. There is an RWDC Registration fee of $5,000 for three-student team members and a teacher/coach to attend the National Championship. It is a great honor to have the opportunity to compete in this event. Our team members all want to study engineering. This opportunity will enhance our chances of getting the education we want. Teams that have competed have had increased opportunities to attend the university of their choice. The National Champion Team gets $50,000 scholarships for each team member to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

We are requesting a donation of [$5,000 or whatever amount you choose], which will go to the registration fee. We have attached a proposal for your consideration. Your contribution will have a significant impact on our educational opportunities. We very much appreciate your support!!!

All donations go to the Real World Design Challenge (RWDC). The RWDC is a not-for-profit organization that manages and organizes the Real World Design Challenge to support aerospace and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education. All donations are tax deductible.
