Welcome our Parent Teacher Open House

There is so much information which can be covered in our short time, and just as my students have different needs and questions, I know you do as well.

Below are your options for our time together. Simply find a seat, read the guidelines and begin.

Guidelines:

1. You may complete as many of the activities listed within the time period.

2. There is one mandatory activity.

3. You may choose any combination of activities. Your goal is at least 10 points.

4. Activities must be completed before you leave the classroom. Not much time, so choose carefully!

Using the seating chart on door, find where your child sits. Put a post-it (center table) with your child’s name at their spot. / 2
Using a post-it (center table), write one question you have for me about this class. / 2
Read three of the posters in the classroom. Choose your favorite, and put a post-it (center table) with your child’s name on it. / 3
Using the computers available, scroll through my teacher website. Record your name on the form next to the computer you used. / 3
Share three “nongrade” goals you have for your child this year in my class. Be as specific as possible. / 6
Write an encouraging note to your child. (center table) / 6
Write your child’s name down the left side of piece of paper (center table). Write a describing word for each letter of their name. See Example. / 6
