Payer Source Information Sheet

Medicaid

If you have Hamilton County Medicaid (includes Medicaid Managed Care, such as Care Source, Amerigroup, Healthy Start and Molina), please read this important information:

Medicaid covers 100% of the cost of services.
To start the referral process, call Mental Health Access Point at 513.558.8888 and let them know you would like services at Beech Acres Parenting Center. They will conduct a screening via phone and send a fax to our agency approving the referral. We will then call you to schedule an initial appointment.
To follow up on a referral, you can call the Beech Acres Parenting Center Intake Coordinator at 513.233.4805.
Medicaid covers 100% of the cost even if you have a different primary payer, such as private insurance. We will attempt to bill your primary insurance first and whatever cost is not covered will be billed to Medicaid in full.
If you currently have a Hamilton County Job and Family Services Children’s Services worker, please see “Hamilton County Job and Family Services” below.

If you have Ohio Medicaid from any county other than Hamilton (includes Medicaid Managed Care, such as Care Source, Amerigroup, Healthy Start and Molina), please read this important information:

Medicaid covers 100% of the cost even if you have a different primary payer, such as private insurance. We will attempt to bill your primary insurance first and whatever cost is not covered will be billed to Medicaid in full.

If you have Kentucky or Indiana Medicaid Coverage, please read this important information:

Beech Acres Parenting Center does not currently have a Medicaid contract with either state. If you choose to come to Beech Acres Parenting Center for services, you will be charged 100% of the cost for services.

Hamilton County Children's Services Cases

If you have a Hamilton County Job and Family Services open case with Children’s Services, please read this important information:

Contact your children’s services worker and ask that he/she make the referral to Beech Acres Parenting Center for services.
Feel free to call the Beech Acres Parenting Center Intake Coordinator at 513-233-4805 to check-in and/or follow up on a referral.
Please note: this referral will require an authorization from Family Access Partnership prior to services starting with Beech Acres Parenting Center.

Private Insurance

If you have private insurance coverage (i.e. Humana, Anthem, Aetna, etc.), please read this important information:

Beech Acres Parenting Center is not currently part of provider panels for any private insurance companies. You can refer your child and family for the service, but will be asked to pay 100% of the fees at the time of service. We will bill your insurance company, but we will likely not be reimbursed since we are not an insurance panel provider.
You will likely get the best financial benefit if you see a provider within your insurance network panel. They will usually require a co-pay of less than the 100% fee we require for private insurance clients.
Please refer to the Private Insurance Tip Sheet and contact your insurance company directly. Refer to your insurance card for the contact number, under Mental Health Services.

No Insurance

If you are a Hamilton County resident with no insurance, please read this important information:

Even if you don’t currently have insurance coverage, we can provide you with services through funding provided by the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Board. A sliding scale fee may be assessed, based on household income and the number of people living in the home. Most families find the fees to be very manageable.

If you are a client residing outside of Hamilton County with no insurance, please read this important information:

Clients will be charged 100% of the fee for services if they choose to come to the Beech Acres Parenting Center.
Feel free to call your local mental health board to get a list of resources that take clients with no insurance.
