In continuation to the Office Order No.1975 dated 25.4.2005, it has been decided to create a new Cell in Central Office of the Commission in the name of "Public Information Cell" to implement the provisions of RTI Act 05 in effective manner and to provide information sought by the member of public under RTI Act-05 within the stipulated time.

The said Public Information Cell will be headed by the Director/Central Public Information Officer of Central Office as designated in terms of RTI Act-05, and will function with the manpower and infrastructure available with the Director/Central Public Information Officer.

This newly created Cell will function with immediate effect.

This is issued with the approval of the CEO/Commissioner.
