Map and directions to venue by car and on foot

From M62 East: Leave the motorway at Junction 25 and take the first left at the roundabout - for Huddersfield. After about 3/4 mile turn right at the traffic lights. Carry straight on through several traffic lights for approx. 2 miles. Turn right at the traffic lights directly opposite 'Staples' superstore on to Red Doles Lane. The Textile Centre of Excellence is on the left after 'Booker - cash 'n carry'.
From M62 West: Leave the motorway at Junction 23 and follow signs for Huddersfield.
From M1 South: Leave the motorway at Junction 38 and follow signs for Huddersfield.
From Huddersfield Centre / Ring Road: Follow directions for Leeds A62 (Leeds Road). Once on the A62, follow the road for approx. 1 mile and stay in the left-hand lane at the lights and go straight on (the right lane is right turn only). When approaching the next set of traffic lights next to the 'Staples' superstore, turn left onto Red Doles Lane. The Textile Centre of Excellence is on the left after 'Booker - cash 'n carry'.

Bus Information reaching venue from Huddersfield Bus Station
Buses no 202, 203 and 229 stop on Bradley Mills Road just outside the road that leads to the venue and are frequent from the Huddersfield bus station even on Saturdays with a relevant bus stopping every 5-10 minutes and the journey only taking 7 minutes to reach the venue. Buses currently leave from stands Y and Z in the Huddersfield Bus station though please check for confirmation nearer the time at the number below.
Timetables will be new on October so we couldn’t get accurate information on bus times in time for this newsletter so please call Metro on 0113 245 7676 in October for up to date travel information. Lines open from 7am-10pm seven days a week. Or email on
Railway Information
There is a regular Transpennine train service to Huddersfield that connects to the major cities of Leeds and Manchester and York and a less frequent Northern train service that also connects the smaller towns to Huddersfield. Please contact the following for more information:

Taxis
There are a number of taxi ranks centrally located in Huddersfield. If travelling by train the nearest taxi ranks are located centrally outside the station. There is also a taxi rank behind the bus station next to the small Sainsbury’s supermarket in the centre of town.
