GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

CLEAN CAMPUS: Red flag!

SENIOR SUNSET: Senior Sunset is tonight from 6-9pm on the football field. All graduating seniors are invited to enjoy a free dinner and get your pre-purchased yearbook a day early! Bring a blanket to sit on, or even an EZ up! The weather is supposed to be perfect! Come enjoy the food, music and hang out with your friends!

YEARBOOKS: Students who purchased a Yearbook before the passed deadline can pick up their book with ID. No exceptions.

DATES of Distribution:

Tuesday, May 23rd Seniors can pick up their Yearbook @ Senior Sunset.

Wednesday, May 24th (3pm to 5pm @ the Gazebo)

Thursday, May 25th (3pm to 430pm @ the Gazebo)

YEARBOOK LOTTERY: There are still a limited number of books available for purchase. Here’s how to get one! WHEN: Friday, May 26th during lunch. Tickets will be given out at the beginning of lunch to students who present their ID and proof that they have $80 Cash. Drawing will be held at exactly 11:40am. If you possess a ticket and your number/name is called, you will be able to purchase a yearbook immediately following the drawing. Cash will only be accepted. Good luck!

SUMMER SCHOOL: If you received a Summer School form from your Counselor during Registration, please turn forms in ASAP. Students who have any D/F grades in May, should see their Counselor againto discuss Summer School options. Do not wait until June, as classes will be full! Students who fail classes and do not attendSummer School areat risk of not graduating.

SCIENCE CAMP COUNSELORS: Applications now being accepted.If you will be a Junior or Senior for the 2017-2018school year and are interested in becoming a science camp counselor, come by the A-Leside of the Student Service Center to pick up an application. Once you complete your application please turn it into Randee Ramirez in the Student Service Center.

CAASPP EXAMS: CAASPP Exams in Mathwill be taken byGrade 11 studentsinUS History classes until Friday, May 26, 2017.

SCHOOL-WIDE TUTORING: The last day for school-wide tutoring is Thursday, May 25, 2017.

SENIORS GOING TO DELTA: If you plan to attend Delta next year, please see your counselor to find out how to sign-up for “New Student Saturday’s” at Delta College.

LIBRARY: The textbook room will be open during lunch and after school until 3:15 Monday May 22nd – Friday May 30th.All library books MUST be returned by May 26th. Please get all of your textbooks and library books cleared out of your lockers and returned during these extended times. AP textbooks for the 2017-2018 school year can be checked out during finals week.

NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK: Attention Students! During the week of May 21st – May 27th, in observation of National Emergency Medical Services Week, there will be a Compression-only CPR training on Thursday, May 25th during lunch by the Ed Planning Center area. The American Medical Response Team will teach students the compression-only CPR technique, which takes less than five minutes to learn. The AMR will be on campus on Thursday, May 25, 2017 during lunch outside the Ed Planning Center.

AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE: All students taking AP Environmental Science next year must pickup summer homework on Tuesday, May 23 at lunch in room 1117.

AP LIT & COMP: AP Literature and Composition Summer Workmeeting will be held inroom2106 on May24th at lunch andafter school. This is a senior class.

AP LANGUAGE & COMP: MANDATORY meeting for NEXT YEAR’s AP Language and Composition, summer homework will be distributed and information about AP Boot Camp will be given. ALL those enrolled MUST attend on May 25 at lunch or after school in 1113.

SUMMER HOMEWORK FOR APUSH: If you are a sophomore and planning to take theAP US Historycourse next year, You need to come to Mrs. Wurgler’s room, #1330, TODAY at 2:05pmORThursday, May 25th at 3:05PMto pick up the packet and the instructions for summer homework. You may ask any questions at that time and see which other students that will be in the classes. See you thenTODAY @ 2:05PMorThursday @ 3:05PM.

AP WORLD HISTORY: If you plan to take AP World History next year, please come to Mr. Kulm’s room, #2105, on Tuesday, May 23rd at 2:10pm OR Wednesday, May 24th at 3:00pm to get instructions for summer homework.

AP BIOLOGY: Hello future AP Biology students!There is a mandatory meeting on Tuesday, May 23rd at 11:30in room 1128to get and discuss the summer homework. Everyone enrolled in AP Biology next year must attend!

AP CHEMISTRY: There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday 5/25 at 11:25 in room 1111 to get and discuss the summer homework. Everyone enrolled in AP Chemistry next year must attend.

AP MUSIC THEORY: AP Music Theory students should stop by room 1328 any time between 11:30am – 12pm on May 23-26 to get their summer homework. (The very beginning of 7th period works fine,too)

GRAD NIGHT: Attention Seniors – Get in on a Seniors Only raffle for one of two $25 gift certificates by purchasing your Grad Night tickets by Tuesday, May 23. There are only a limited number of tickets sold at the door, so guarantee your night of fun and friendship by purchasing now! Tickets will also be available after school on Tuesday, May 23 from 2:30 -3:30 by the front office.

LINK CREW 2017-2018: There is a Mandatory Link Crew meeting for all 2017-2018 Link Leaders, Friday, May 26th at the beginning of lunch in the lecture hall.

BLOOD DRIVE: The Interact Club’s spring blood drive will be held TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 24th in the Practice Gym. Please remember to get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and drink lots of fluids. You must bring your student ID or a driver’s license. Thank you for saving lives!

FCA CLUB: Attention all students: the last FCA meeting of the year will be this Wednesday, May 24 at lunch in coach Greeno's room. We will be voting on officers for next year, as well as hearing from some of our past FCA alumni. Don't miss it!

LINK CREW: Link Crew results are posted on the EPC windows. New link leaders MUST SIGN UP for remind…it is mandatory. There are instruction posters hung around campus and also on the EPC window.

HOMECOMING QUEEN NOMINATIONS: Attention Juniors: It’s time to nominate that special Junior for next year’s Homecoming Queen. WHO SHOULD YOU NOMINATE?

·  A Junior that has been active in Lincoln High School clubs, athletics, and school activities.

·  Active in the community

·  Possess school spirit and pride

·  Is a positive role model

Lincoln High juniors can nominate a junior by stopping by the activities office by Wednesday, May 31.

TROJAN SPORTS

X-SPORTS: All X-Sports athletes need to pick up their grade-sheets from the Administration Office OR in the Athletics’ Office. X-Sport grade-sheets will be due on May 31st in the Athletics’ Office.
