Programme Fees

The current fees for Level 6/7 which is delivered in part-time mode is €3,950 per stage.

Additional Payments

In the Award stage of each programme, there is a single additional charge to cover the cost of the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Award Fee. This will be collected in the first instalment for this stage.

The amount of the QQI Award Fee is as follows:

Procedures

Stage 1: Non-Refundable Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of €395 must accompany your acceptance of a place on any of the above programmes. If this is not received, you will be regarded as having withdrawn from the programme for this year.

Stage 2: Payment at Registration

Once you are registered on the programme, you will be required to pay a further €1,455, which means that €1,850 of the total programme fee amount will be paid by this stage. This normally occurs within 14 days of the offer of a place.

Stage 3: Payment by Instalment

If you have chosen to payment the programme fee by this method, you will be required to make 7 payments on the 25nd of each month, commencing February 2015.

Note : in the case of the Award stage of each programme, the QQI Award Fee will gathered as part of the first instalment

Instalments must be paid through a Standing Order. Details of this will be available from the Accounts Office in January 2015.

Non-Payment of Fees

Where a learner’s fees fall into arrears, privileges such as loss of access to SNMCI’s virtual learning environment, library and other facilities. If the payment of arrears is not cleared by the end of class contact within each semester, the following sanctions will apply:

(a)  The learner will not be permitted to sit any written examinations.

(b)  In the case of the Award Stage, the learner will not be advised of their examinations results and will not be allowed to graduate;

(c)  In the case of those seeking to progress, the learner will not be advised of their examination results and they will not be allowed to register for subsequent stages until such time as all arrears have been cleared.

SNMCI reserves the right to seek the assistance of third parties to recover the outstanding amounts.

Eligibility for Tax Relief

Most courses of two or more years’ duration have been approved for tax relief which all students can avail of. Applicants should note that the qualifying conditions for relief may differ for full and part-time students. Refund Policy

SNMCI will not refund fees to any student after they have formally registered for a programme, except in extenuating circumstances which are at the discretion of the Director of SNMCI. No refund will be made to students who fail to attend classes or who withdraw and do not finish the scheduled course.
