Launched a new program at Houston Community College- Northwest. Programs include direct services to students in the form of personal counseling, social service referrals, help with navigating the college system, assisting new students with preparing for college, and facilitating groups for specific populations, such as students in the LGBTQ community. Initiatives included the Hogg Foundation Transition Aged Youth (TAY) grant and the SBISD/HCC/CIS Summer Bridge program to prevent summer melt with recent SBISD graduates.
