KILDARECOUNTY COUNCIL ARTS SERVICE BURSARY AWARD 2009

TYRONE GUTHRIE CENTRE @ ANNAGHMAKERRIGCONDITIONS

  1. Applications must be made on the official application form only
  1. Applicants must be originally from or currently resident in CountyKildare.
  1. Two bursary awards will be made to artists from all fields born or living in Co Kildare to enable them to spend 2 weeks at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig, the artists workplace in Monaghan.
  1. Artists will be selected on the basis of their previous achievements and the project they intend to further during their working residence.
  1. The bursary will cover board and lodging costs.
  1. The bursary does not include travel expenses and candidates must make their own travel arrangements
  1. No cash alternative will be offered
  1. The bursary cannot be passed on to a third party
  1. Candidates must be over 21 years of age on 1st January 2009
  1. All recipients of grant assistance under the Arts Act Grant Scheme for projects involving children or young people must have appropriate policies in place as regards child protection. Kildare County Council Arts Service will also require confirmation that the appropriate insurance policies are in place.
  1. Successful candidates will be asked to provide a short written report to the Arts Service on completion of the residency
  1. Kildare County Council reserves the right to advertise the awarding of the bursary. Successful candidates may be asked to contribute to promotional material.
  1. Awards will be made by an independent panel
  2. Applications will be held in strictest confidence.
  3. Successful applicants will be informed in writing
