Fire Hazard Data ======Flash Point not applicable. Water-based solution, does not burn. May form suds if water is added under pressure.

Reactivity Data ======Stable. Keep away from acids. No hazardous decomposition products. Will not polymerize.

Health Hazard Data ======Routes of entry: Skin and ingestion. Health Hazards: (acute) Corrosive. Can cause chemical burns to skin, eyes, and gastrointestinal system on contact. Skin penetrant. Burn-like damage may be delayed. Eyes can be damaged by splashing. Prolonged contact can cause deep and permanent tissue damage. Overexposure to butoxyethanol can result in blood, lung and kidney damage.

Not listed as OSHA, NTP or IARC carcinogen.

Symptoms of exposure: Skin redness, swelling, burns, scars. Condition aggravated by exposure: Dermatitis

Precautions for Safe Handling and Use ======For Spills: Use absorbent. Dike and recover spilled material. Keep out of drains and sewers. Rinse spill area with clear water.

Waste Disposal: Neutralize or dilute to prevent damage to septic systems. Meet provisions for corrosive liquid waste. Do not release to land, streams, sewers, or surface waters. Review all local, state, and federal regulations for disposal procedures.

Precautions for Handling and Storing: No special storage requirements. Do not mix with acids. Wear protective equipment at all times when pouring or using this material. Prevent splashing. Eye protection should be used at all times.

Wash any exposed skin with water immediately to reduce chance of chemical burn. Remove any wet clothing immediately. Change boots if any liquid gets inside. Remove wet socks immediately. Wash hands after use.
