Invitation for “Expression of interest” for Consulting Services For 3rd Party Technical Supervision, Monitoring and Quality Assurance

  1. Gujarat Council of Primary Education is the implementing agency for SSA Mission in Gujarat. Under this project the construction work of various civil activities like BRC buildings, Additional Classrooms, Compound Wall, Sanitation Units, Rain Water Harvesting System & School Repairing etc. are undertaken through community participation procedure or through Contractor at various locations in the state of Gujarat.
  2. The State Project Director, SSA Mission, Gujarat invites “Expression of Interest” from professional consultancy firms for providing consultancy services relating to 3rd party Technical Supervision, Monitoring and quality assurance for the various works stated above.
  3. Document of “Request for proposal” may be purchased from the office of the State Project Director, SSA Mission, Sector No.17, Gandhinagar from Dt. 06.05.2008 to Dt. 26.05.2008 with Non-refundable fee as indicated in the form of cash or Demand Draft on any Scheduled Bank, payable at Gandhinagar in favour of: “The State Project Director, SSA Mission, Gandhinagar”. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the same address. Documents for “Request for Proposal” requested by mail will be dispatched by the registered / speed post on payment of extra amount of Rs. 500/-. The State Project Director will not be held responsible for the postal delay if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.
  4. Document for “Request for Proposal” must be delivered to the State Project Director, State Project Office, SSA Mission, Gandhinagar on or before 12:00 Hrs. on 27.05.2008 & technical proposal will be opened on 27.05.2008 at 15:00 Hrs. in the presence of consultants who wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the date of receipt of the proposal as specified, the document of “Request for Proposal” will be received and technical proposal will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. Mere purchase of document does not imply any consideration for proposal and State Project Office, SSA Mission will have no legal binding and there will be no legal obligation of the State Project Office, SSA Mission. All decision of the State Project Director, SSA Mission will be final.
  5. A pre – proposal conference opened to all prospective consultant will be held on 19.05.2008 @ 12:00 Hrs. at the State Project Office, GCPE, Gandhinagar. The prospective consultant will have an opportunity to obtain clarification regarding the scope of the work, term of reference, contract conditions and any other pertinent information.
